Update on products detected to contain melamine
As an ETE customer, if you have purchased products from us that have been tested and deemed to contain melamine by AVA we will arrange for the items to be collected. All you have to do is to email recall@everytradings.com and we will collect the affected items during our next delivery to your company. A credit note will also be issued which will be equivalent to the costs of those affected items.
We have started to do such collections and issue credit notes for our customers since October 2008 as part of our commitment to our customers.
Trust us. It’s not easy to implement this policy. The administrative overheads and labour resources required are very taxing on the ETE team – from accounts, to admin to delivery. However, we are heartened by our customers’ appreciation of our efforts to be proactive in this matter.

Without even having to taste a single crumb of biscuit, I bet all clients and fellow colleagues alike must be feeling the ill-effects of the gruesome but successful recall exercise. With yet another sabotage rocking our shores in the form of the Melamine scandal early this year, it has proved to be a true litmus test of our character.
Only in times like these can we truly gauge the collective efforts we put in as a team to tide through unconceivable problems. My sincere appreciation goes out to firstly our dear valued customers, whom despite having to worry about the repercussions of consuming their Julie biscuits, were nothing short of being patient, understanding and co-operative, facilitating greater ease for the collection process.
Secondly, I would like to applaud everyone in the ETE team for identifying the problem early, following no hesitation to undertake quick proactive measures to protect the customers’ welfare. At ETE, we pride ourselves in adopting a no-nonsense approach to customers’ demands. Your needs are our problems! And it is our aim to ensure that the customers’ priorities are always met at the highest level of service according to the best of our capacity. And that also applies to emergency situations, the Julie case being a classic example.
